AN APPEAL FOR MISSIONARY SUPPORT

Following the burden of souls among my own kindred that are perishing daily without hearing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, I have started RIVERINE OUTREACH with the view of reaching all villages, fishing camp, and communities in the riverine areas of
some states in Nigeria.

The tribes in  these areas are the Ijaws which is my own tribe, the Urhobos, the Ukwanis, to mention but few. Most of the communities have no electricity, no road linking one community with another, no pipe-borne water only few hospitals and health centres  in the Local Government Headquarters and few towns.

Due to the peculiar nature of settlements of the people who are surrounded by rivers, seas, and with low income and high cost of transportation and living little or no church/mission are involved  in reaching these people with the gospel adequately. The scripture
says ". the harvest truly is plenteous but the labourers are few". (Mt. 9:37) "... how shall they hear without a preacher and how shall they preach except they be sent" (Rom. 10:14 - 15)

My vision is to break the barriers and reach the people with the gospel. ".. He that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame" (Prov. 10:5). Due to the huge finances required and our low income for now, we on our own can not successfully finance this
vision. I believe you are one of those having the burden of unsaved souls, God is looking on to support our course in all or any of the following areas of assistance required:

1. Provision of speed boats, engine mounted canoes, generators and gospel vans.

2. Evangelical equipment

3. Bibles, books and tracts (to equip our library and to be distributed to new converts and low income members and for evangelism/witnessing)

4. To establish and maintain a tuition-free bible school to train indigenous pastors, Evangelists and church workers, to be located in a central riverine community.

5. Cash support to maintain pastors and lecturers as offerings from churches planted cannot sustain them.

6. Your intercessory prayers and counseling for the full actualization of the vision.

7. Fairly used clothes/wears for the needy.
